Designed especially for children, this interactive etiquette event teaches the art of hosting and attending a formal tea with grace and confidence.

A Ghost Tour of one of Kentucky’s Most Storied Landmarks

Young guests will be immersed in the customs of high tea, learning essential table manners, polite conversation, and the proper way to sip and serve tea. Through engaging hands-on activities, they will practice everything from setting a tea table to the dos and don’ts of simple social etiquette.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At the end of the event, participants will be able to enjoy a formal tea with their mother, (or guardian), at 1:00pm, with an assortment of delicate finger sandwiches & macarons, all while practicing their newfound etiquette skills in a charming historic setting. Special guest hosts will guide them through the experience, making learning both fun and memorable.

GUARDIANS GET TO COME TOO!

Ages 7-12: Children will participate in an engaging etiquette lesson and tea service, tailored to their age group.

Join us for a whimsical afternoon where history, tradition, and good manners blend seamlessly, leaving each child with a sense of confidence and poise fit for any elegant occasion.

AGE GROUPS & PARTICIPATION

Guests will arrive at the Elkton-Todd County Park. We suggest car pooling for large groups. Parking is free. Green River Academy is not yet ADA Accessible.
