ELECTRICAL RENOVATION PROJECT

The Green River Academy Preservation Society will receive separate, sealed Proposals for the Green River Academy Electrical Renovation Project until 2 p.m. local time (CST), Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the office of the Pennyrile Regional Energy Agency, 237 South Ewing Street, Guthrie, Kentucky, 42234, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The contract involves the labor and materials to install electrical services and lighting. All of the work is located in Todd County, and it will be performed in accordance with contract documents and specifications. Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 18, at 3pm. This meeting is not mandatory. The pre-bid meeting will be held at the Green River Academy Historic Site, located at 204 Goebel Avenue, Elkton, KY 42220.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online at the adjacent link, or in-person at the Pennyrile Regional Energy Agency on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-2:30 pm.

Bids will be accepted only from licensed electrical contractors. Green River Academy Preservation Society reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for receiving proposals.
